Jola Gore-Booth
was Chief Executive of Colon Cancer Concern (now known as Bowel Cancer UK) from 1998 until August 2005.. The key focus of her work was raising the profile of colorectal cancer in the UK, the promotion of prevention and symptom awareness and lobbying for access to best treatments for all those affected by the disease. Since then she has gone on to set up europacolon, the first pan - European Not for Profit organisation to focus on colorectal cancer, working to prevent deaths and improving the quality of life and support for people affected by the disease.

Julia Kennedy
joined europacolon in 2007 to support Jola Gore-Booth, CEO/Founder, in achieving the organisation's goals. Since 2007, Julia has played a key role in project management for europacolon. This has included the development of europacolon's Affiliate and Associate groups across Europe; advocacy at EU level for access to best treatments; the introduction of National Colorectal Cancer Screening programmes; National Cancer Plans and Colorectal Cancer Awareness Campaigns; plus the research, development and production of the UK's first educational model - THE INFLATABLE COLON. Dr.h.c. Keith B. Spencer
spent almost 35 years in Sales and Marketing, in the medical industry, gaining worldwide experience. During this time he worked as European General Manager for a multi-national corporation, he now runs his own consultancy business.For 30 years, he was involved specifically with gastroenterology and endoscopy, and was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2003, for services to those specialities, particularly related to his support for research, training and education.

Jonathan Hurley
Jon is our design consultant ensuring our visual image is cutting edge, Jon qualied from Cardiff Art College in 1979, He worked in the graphic design profession for various agencies. He spent some time doing point-of-sale for a Bristol agency, working as an illustrator painting wall murals for functions and events, served his time as a pasteup artist producing free newspapers including the Cardiff Post, was a studio manager of a small Bridgend graphic design firm and finally a director of a Swansea graphic design & PR firm in 1991.
